Learning Outcomes:
 
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

    * Use MYOB to manage your petty cash drawer
    * Manage credit cards for a business

    * Manage fixed assets using MYOB
    * Use MYOB's job tracking features
    * Merge letters between MYOB and a word processing application
    * Export data from MYOB to a spreadsheet application
    * Complete end of month transactions in MYOB
    * Complete end of year transactions and roll over MYOB
    * Customise MYOB forms.
 
Who should do this course?
 
This MYOB training course is designed for people with a working knowledge of MYOB who are able to navigate and operate the software with minimal assistance. The course focuses on enabling students to use the more advanced features and obtain a greater understanding of the software, which will assist with more productive and effective business management.

This course is also intended for people who are considering working within the bookkeeping/accounting profession and are in need of further skills based training.

This course can also be studied as part of our MYOB Distance Learning Course.  The Distance Learning Course also includes the  MYOB Fundamentals & MYOB Payroll sections.

About the course:
 
Designed for participants with MYOB software experience. It is preferred that the participant has either worked with MYOB in the past and/or has completed the MYOB Fundamentals course. The course is applicable to a broad range of business purposes and aims to increase productivity by providing the skills and knowledge required to use MYOB accurately and efficiently on a day-to-day basis.  Over a series of lectures and guided practical sessions, the participant will be assisted in obtaining a thorough knowledge of how to use advanced features of the software, with an emphasis on tailoring the course information to the participants’ particular needs and situation.
 
Participants will work under the supervision of a MYOB Certified Consultant and qualified Trainer that has many years experience with varied clientele. Therefore, lectures and sessions will not only be based on the class training manual, but include the most current information with reference to real life scenarios and legislation. 
 
Location:
 
Suite 1115 & 1118, 401 Docklands Drive, Docklands VIC 3008, Australia.  The courses central location allows for easy access from all parts of Melbourne and has ample parking.
 
Duration:
 
The course is held one day per week for two weeks. Total duration of the course is 15 hours, completed between 9.30am and 5.30pm.
