Public Transport
NewQuay is connected by excellent city, intrastate and interstate public transport including trains, trams and buses.
By Tram:

By Train:
NewQuay is only a short walk from Southern Cross Station – with metropolitan, regional and interstate train services at your door. On arrival at Southern Cross Station, walk over the Bourke Street Pedestrian Bridge to Harbour Esplanade and NewQuay.
By Bus:
The Sky Bus travels directly between the airport and the Southern Cross Station every 10 - 15 minutes 7 days per week.

By Car:
Every road leads to NewQuay - located on the Corner of Harbour Esplanade and Docklands Drive, NewQuay is only moments from the
CBD and major Melbourne roads.
Car Parking:
Car Parking facilities are situated at both the east and northern ends of NewQuay. Rates start at $2 per hour and, if you validate your ticket at participating NewQuay retailers upon purchase, you can enjoy an $8 flat rate all day. NB: This offer does not apply to Waterfront City car parking.
Walking And Cycling Path:
The Docklands area is a mecca for walking and bikeriding enthusiasts. Aside from strolling the picturesque promenade, there are pedestrian linkages between NewQuay and the Melbourne CBD via Collins Street, La Trobe Street and the Bourke Street Pedestrian Bridge (via Southern Cross Station). On average it is a 5 - minute walk to Spencer Street and 15-minute walk to the Bourke Street Mall.
NewQuay is also located within all of Melbourne’s major bike paths. Select a route along the Yarra River, Beach Road, Footscray Road, Harbour Esplanade or any other Melbourne bike paths networked through the CDB and Docklands including:
Westgate Park and Port Melbourne via Lorimer Street
Maribyrnong River Parklands and Footscray via the Footscray Road trail
City and eastern suburbs via the Capital City trail along the south bank of the Yarra River via Charles Grimes Bridge and Webb Bridge
Royal Park via the Capital City Trail along Moonee Ponds Creek
The Webb Bridge via Docklands Park also provides a pedestrian and bicycle connection across the Yarra River and around to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre and Crown Casino.
